Watch Out

A Day in the Life
A typical week begins with reviewing overnight network monitoring alerts and system performance dashboards to ensure all branches and the Data Centre are operating normally before the business day starts. Midweek might involve coordinating with a WAN service provider over an SLA breach, running a scheduled firewall rule audit, and attending a project meeting to plan an upcoming disaster recovery drill. By Friday, you could be finalising a procurement evaluation report for new switching hardware, updating the asset inventory, and ensuring backup jobs completed successfully โ all while remaining on standby to respond to any unplanned outages that arise.
