Terms of Service

By accessing or using AjiraNext ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

These terms apply to all users of the Platform, including job seekers, employers, and visitors.

AjiraNext is a Kenya-focused job platform that provides:

• Access to job listings aggregated from public sources and employer postings
• AI-powered career tools including CV generation, cover letter writing, ATS checking, match scoring, interview preparation, and LinkedIn optimisation
• An employer dashboard for posting jobs, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and managing candidates
• In-platform job applications with AI-powered candidate matching

Some features are available free of charge. Enhanced AI tools require a paid subscription.

To access most features, you must create an account using a valid email address or Google account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and truthful information in your profile and CV
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

As a job seeker, you agree to:

• Provide honest and accurate information in your CV, profile, and applications
• Not misrepresent your qualifications, experience, or identity
• Use AI-generated content (CVs, cover letters) as a starting point and review it for accuracy before submitting to employers
• Not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

AI-generated documents (CVs, cover letters, interview answers) are tools to assist you — you remain responsible for the accuracy of any information you submit to employers.

As an employer, you agree to:

• Post only genuine, available job opportunities
• Provide accurate descriptions of the role, company, and requirements
• Not post discriminatory job listings that violate Kenyan employment law
• Handle candidate data responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection laws
• Not use candidate CVs or personal information for any purpose other than evaluating their application for the specific role advertised
• Pay the applicable job posting fee before your listing goes live

AjiraNext reserves the right to remove any job posting that violates these terms or is deemed harmful to job seekers.

Job Seeker Subscriptions

Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Premium) are billed monthly via M-Pesa. Each payment covers one 30-day period. Subscriptions are not automatically renewed — you must manually renew by making a new M-Pesa payment. If you do not renew, your plan automatically downgrades to Free at the end of the billing period.

Employer Job Postings

Job postings require a one-time payment via M-Pesa before the listing goes live. Payments are non-refundable once a job has been activated and is visible to job seekers.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds in the following circumstances only:

• Technical failure on our end that prevented your job from going live
• Duplicate payment caused by a system error

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the payment to support@ajiranext.com.

AjiraNext uses artificial intelligence to generate CVs, cover letters, job descriptions, match scores, and interview questions. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use
• Match scores and assessments are estimates based on available data and should not be the sole basis for hiring decisions
• We do not guarantee that AI tools will improve your chances of employment or hiring success

The Platform, including its design, software, and original content, is owned by AjiraNext. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Platform without our written permission.

Content you upload (your CV, job descriptions, etc.) remains yours. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the service (e.g., running AI analysis).

Job listings scraped from third-party sources are the property of their original publishers.

You may not use the Platform to:

• Scrape, copy, or mass-download job listings or user data
• Post false, fraudulent, or misleading job listings
• Harass, spam, or deceive other users
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform
• Use the Platform for any purpose that violates Kenyan law
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AjiraNext shall not be liable for:

• Any employment outcomes (or lack thereof) resulting from use of the Platform
• The accuracy of job listings or employer-provided information
• The accuracy of AI-generated content
• Loss of data, revenue, or opportunity resulting from Platform downtime or errors
• Actions taken by employers or job seekers based on Platform data

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
