Financial Analyst

Old Mutual Kenya, one of the country's leading insurance and investments groups, is looking for a talented Financial Analyst to join their team in Nairobi. This role sits at the heart of the organisation's financial planning function, providing analytical support that directly informs strategic decisions at the highest level of the business.

The successful candidate will work closely with the CFO's team, contributing to a wide range of financial activities — from building robust forecasting models to preparing materials for board and investor audiences. • Develop and maintain financial models, budgets, and forward-looking forecasts to guide business planning
• Monitor and evaluate financial performance across business units, translating data into clear and actionable management reports
• Collaborate with the CFO's office to produce high-quality board presentations and investor reporting materials
• Carry out in-depth market research and competitor analysis to support strategic positioning and decision-making

• A CPA or ACCA professional qualification, or evidence of being part-qualified and actively progressing toward completion
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a financial analysis role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including demonstrated financial modelling capabilities
• Prior experience working within the insurance sector or broader financial services industry is an added advantage

This position is best suited to a proactive and analytically minded finance professional who is comfortable operating in a structured, corporate environment. You should be capable of communicating complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
